Dear Oklahoma Teachers,

The first day you stood up for my children's education and made the trip to the Capitol I held my breath. I was worried it would only last one day and afraid to get my hopes up. The second day I allowed myself to tune in and realized I was silly for ever doubting anyone with as much value for education, patience as it takes to teach a room full of any aged students and the heart you must have to do it for so little.

Personally, I love my job so much I'd do it for free but understand how that all changes when you have a family to feed, so I can understand. When I received the email that everyone is going back for a third day I was moved to tears. You have this parent's support. You make me and my children proud. You are re-writing history.
